“All of the sudden, generally they were assailed, we believe, by people in automobiles and/or foot,” Gonzalez said.
At least 9 people were shot, two fatally, throughout a music video shoot in what cops are explaining as an “ambush.”
“This is a very major circumstance– this is a residential neighborhood,” Gonzalez, who stated the criminal activity scene stretched numerous blocks, continued. “A great deal of shots were fired.”
“Anybody that was out here, they require to speak up,” Gonzalez stated. “We need some leads right now.”
In addition to the two discovered dead at the scene and those who were rushed to the healthcare facility, the sheriff stated more people may have been hurt and looked for healthcare on their own. Authorities are still investigating why the shooting occurred and who lags it.
The shooting took place Friday night near Houston in Harris County, according to NBC News. Sheriff Ed Gonzales stated that a group of guys in their 20s were in a parking area of a house recording a rap video when shooting broke out.
