Samsung’s most current wireless earbuds look to beits best yet, with tight Spotify combination and improved sound and battery life for a competitive $ 149 cost point. The spec sheet is outstanding, but over the recently, some information have been cast doubt on, with the multi-point connection function disappearing from the spec sheet, as found by SamMobile. Samsung has now issued a main statement, indicating that the feature is present– but just if both gadgets are Galaxy phones or tablets.

The other day, a Samsung spokesperson launched the following statement:

“Galaxy Buds+ offers users a hassle-free method to shift across gadgets that are logged into the exact same Samsung account with the SmartThings app installed. This feature can be accessed in the media panel (by choosing Galaxy Buds+), and is only offered on Samsung mobile devices running Android 7.1.1 or later on.”

One UI media panel with Galaxy Buds (1st gen) linked The screenshot above shows the media panel in One UI with the initial Galaxy Buds found. From here, you can open a media app, control currently playing media, and choose the output for playing media. Galaxy Buds+ utilize Bluetooth 5.0 to link to 2 Galaxy gadgets at the same time. This method, you can open the media panel on your Samsung phone or tablet, tap the Galaxy Buds+, and listen to your music.

For those of us who own less than 2 Galaxy devices, we can still combine Buds+ to more than one gadget, however they’ll only connect to among them at a time. You’ll need to open the Bluetooth menu of the selected device and press link if you desire to change devices. While switching between Galaxy gadgets utilizing the multi-point connection is immediate as both gadgets stay connected at the very same time, this technique requires waiting for your Buds+ to reconnect and detach in between devices. It’s a pity to see a function like this unnecessarily restricted when other cordless headphones do it with less fuss.
