NASA picks SpaceX to fly cargo to moon-orbiting Gateway space station – Space.com

The California-based business currently flies cargo objectives to and from the International Space Station (ISS) for NASA. Partnership with industrial business is a key part of NASA’s lunar exploration objectives. SpaceX is in the running to provide NASA landing services.

The California-based business already flies cargo missions to and from the International Space Station (ISS) for NASA. The business is guaranteed 2 objectives under its newly announced Gateway Logistics Services contract. SpaceX’s Gateway objectives will use various hardware: the substantial Falcon Heavy rocket and a special pill variant called Dragon XL. Collaboration with commercial companies is an essential part of NASA’s lunar exploration goals. SpaceX is in the running to provide NASA landing services.
