KIEFER, Okla.(WTHR)– A cops chief in Oklahoma is speaking up after what was printed on a Starbucks cup provided to among his officers.
That officer had actually purchased coffee for all of the dispatchers working on Thanksgiving.
On the cups was printed the word “PIG.”
Starbucks has apparently suspended a barista over it while they investigate.
The Starbucks partner who wrote this offending word on a cup utilized bad judgement and is no longer a partner after this offense of business policy.
This language is offensive to all police and is not representative of the deep gratitude we have for policemans who work relentlessly to keep our neighborhoods safe.
“What irritates me is the overall and absolute disrespect for a law enforcement officer who, rather of being home with household and delighting in a meal and a football video game, is patrolling his little town,” Chief Johnny O’Mara stated.
The Chief said that when he called the Starbucks place he was told they might put and replace the coffee “correct” labels on them.
