LeBaron family massacre: 3 detained in connection to massacre that left 9 family members dead in Mexico – CBS News

The victims were members of the LeBaron household who were part of a group of fundamentalist Mormons who migrated to Mexico after polygamy was disallowed in the U.S. in the 1800s. The victims in November’s attack were part of the extended LeBaron family. It would not be the very first time that members of the break-away church had actually been assaulted in northern Mexico, where their forefathers settled years back.
