George Floyd protests: Looters hit Santa Monica Place mall – Los Angeles Times

As the protest got underway, looters swarmed the downtown location in what appeared to be an arranged attack. Dozens stormed the Santa Monica Place shopping center, smashing the windows of a Louis Vuitton store and several other shops. All I-10 and PCH ramps into Santa Monica now closed by CHP. By 2:30, more than 50 law enforcement officers had stormed the Santa Monica Place shopping center, where the stores for 7 for All Mankind and Hugo Boss were smashed. A few minutes later, cops and firemens revealed up after a fire was started at a nearby shop.
