Sony WF-1000XM3 earbuds get Alexa support and volume controls in new update – Android Police

Earphones Connect app

The Sony WF-1000XM3 earbuds currently had Assistant assistance at launch, but now there’s a second voice assistant option constructed in. That’s great for individuals who are already in Amazon’s community. Likewise, the earbuds had touch controls, but only for playback, Assistant, and sound cancelling mode. To turn on volume controls, you’ll need to sacrifice among the other functions as there’s just a single touch button on each earbud.

The upgrade is readily available in the Sony Headphones Connect app, which is also where you’ll be able to inspect the case’s charge level. The app constantly revealed the charge of each earbud, however you had to think at just how much juice remained in the case until now.

The new update adds 3 new functions, two of which are rather considerable. The Sony WF-1000XM3 earbuds already had Assistant support at launch, but now there’s a 2nd voice assistant alternative built in. The earbuds had touch controls, but only for playback, Assistant, and noise cancelling mode.
