Some devices are closing down not long after turning on, and still other users report their gadgets have become unresponsive to commands and pushing buttons. The concerns do not appear to be confined to one particular design.
On Samsung’s community assistance message board, some users posited the problems started with a firmware upgrade, but ZDNet states this does not seem the case, recommending the most likely offender was an ended SSL certificate the Blu-ray players used to link to Samsung’s servers. Samsung did not immediately respond to an ask for remark Saturday. Client service agents responding to the message board posters are telling individuals the company is examining.
