GM’s first electric truck could be ready in 2021 – Engadget

GM’s electrical truck strategies were reported last month, when the Detroit Free Press reported that the Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Plant would stay open to produce the electrical pickup. This is the very first time the business has discussed a timeline.

The electrical truck market is becoming more crowded. Rivian’s R1T electrical pickup is slated to get here in 2020, and Tesla plans to present its electrical truck in 2021. Ford is establishing an all-electric F-150, and while the automaker has shared a video of its model towing over one million pounds, it has not specified when the EV will show up.
