Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh has said the Palestinian management is “staying with the goals of our people” by declining United States President Donald Trump’s Middle East peace plan.
Mr Trump’s Middle East strategy imagines a limited Palestinian state and recognition of Israeli sovereignty over settlements in the occupied West Bank.
Mr Shtayyeh told the BBC’s Orla Guerin the Palestinian management has actually alerted Israel that if it annexes any part of the occupied West Bank all contracts in between the two sides would be ended.
