After deadly virus outbreak in China, CDC announces enhanced health screenings at 3 major US airports – Fox News

“To even more safeguard the health of the American public during the development of this unique coronavirus, CDC is beginning entry screening at 3 ports of entry. Examinations into this novel coronavirus are continuous and we are responding and keeping track of to this evolving situation,” Martin Cetron, M.D., director of CDC’s Division of Global Migration and Quarantine, said in a news release. The CDC and CBP anticipate around 5,000 tourists to be screened within the next few weeks at all 3 airports combined.
