The function is available now in at least the US, Canada and France, and likely other parts of the world also. Yes, this Maps fine-tune is probably a cruel reminder of all the places you can’t go while you’re staying at house during the pandemic. Take a look at it this way, though: unlike with some shipment apps, you’ll know simply where to go when it’s lastly safe to go to a restaurant personally.
