“I believe if Princess Margaret were alive today, she would give good recommendations,” said Glenconner. “She would tell us to continue, do the finest that we can day by day and not offer up. I live alone here and it can get quite lonesome sometimes. My kids, I don’t see them due to the fact that they live somewhere else. They sound me up. I remind them to stay inside. And I inform them they do not have it so bad. They are home, they are healthy, they’re not starving.”
“If Princess Margaret were here, she would simply state, ‘Do the best that you can and don’t fret. We will make it through,'” Glenconner included.
“We understand, every one people, that in the end, all will be well; for God will care for us and offer us victory and peace. And when peace comes, remember it will be for us, the children of today, to make the world of tomorrow a much better and happier place.”
According to the outlet, Elizabeth ended her speech by bringing Margaret on to state goodnight to their young listeners.
“My sister is by my side and we are both going to say goodnight to you,” stated Elizabeth. “Come on, Margaret.”
“Goodnight, kids,” Margaret replied.
“Goodnight, and great luck to you all,” Elizabeth included.

But the war helped us to be difficult … This infection is very much like war except you can’t see where the enemy is. In the war, we knew it was Hitler. I believe that’s what’s frightening about this enemy – you have no concept where it is.”
